With seven pilot plants and partnerships with NC State's Center of Marine Sciences and Technology and the new NC State Fruit and Vegetable Science Institute, Food Science Extension Specialists provide assistance in the areas of Dairy (Ice Cream), Entrepreneurs, Food Safety Certification, HACCP, and Seafood.
